After the verge published a critical story of Uber’s secret recruiting program, the one designed to poach drivers from their competitor Lyft, Nick Bilton reached out to Lyft to find out if the corporate espionage was hurting their drivers. From the New York Times:
Recruiting employees is nothing new. But what struck me about Uber’s tactics is that the rides seem to be taking away from a Lyft driver’s ability to pick up actual passengers, which, in turn, harms his income. So I reached out to Lyft requesting data on those rides.
